− The shower and TV require a nuclear scientist to figure out which was quite annoying.
The stay was excellent
8.0The hotel building was very lovely, had a good bar area and excellent outside seating areas and the location was excellent based on our needs. The evening meal was excellent and also the breakfast. I have recommended it to some other friends , who unfortunately could not make it on the particular weekend we stayed.
− When the bar closed for the evening , we asked if we could purchase a bottle of wine for the room, but unfortunately not, but it was not a big problem
Good for a short stay
8.0Good location and room was clean and everting you need for short break. Fans are provided if needed to keep cool. Nice outside beer garden and onsite restaurant.
− Carpark very small and tight when in a larger car. The rooms could benefit from secondary glazing to block out some of the noise from the outside beer garden and road at night.
Beautiful building close to all amenities in Harrogate, will definitely be returning
9.0Reception staff exceptional, very helpful. Bar staff also pleasant and attentive. Didn't go for Bed and Breakfast, instead had breakfast as a non resident which proved good and a lot cheaper.
− Very hot in the room but this was caused with the heat wave, nice to have the fan already in the room.
