− Didn't like that they took the food from the second floor in the elevator to the restaurant with no covers on the food.!!!!

6.0Great location & fun historical hotel. We had air conditioning problems in our room 702 which made for a hot & miserable night. Pub downstairs was fun with a great burger. But not sure I would recommend based on our experience with the air problems.
Don't miss the curio colleciton hotel with lots of history
10.0This is the second time I've stayed at the Alex. If you want a really new hotel, you shouldn't stay here, BUT you will miss a lot of charm and history. The rooms I've had are spacious, clean and very comfortable. The service is impeccable. Everyone is helpful and very, very accommodating. If your schedule allows, be sure to eat at the roof top restaurant. The view is excellent, the food is well prepared and served, and I can't believe how reasonably priced it is! Great farm to table offerings.
