Great for a short stay, with some areas for improvement.

Beach view, although busy it was a bonus to have easy access to the beach. Restaurant food was good, but we only ate there once. Front of house staff were warm, welcoming and very helpful - including reception, concierge and staff helping with luggage. This team ensured an excellent first impression.

− Suggesting a few areas for improvement; 1. review customer experience for pool area esp how you allocate towels and set guests up for a comfortable stay. One member of staff was less helpful and difficult when managing the pool towels. He insisted you only take one towel and did not help with sun loungers, parasols etc. Other 5 star hotels greet guests, hand them towels (with no restrictions) and then guide them to a lounger and help with parasols. 2. Also breakfast staff could benefit with some upskilling on how to engage guests, take orders and if a guest asks for something that should be on the table please get it for them, don’t ask them to get it or point to where it is. 3. This e2e experience in the spa could be improved and optimised. The massage treatment was disappointing and not value for money, it wasn’t a typical massage, it was finger tapping versus a proper relaxing massage. There was no post relaxation either to compliment the treatment which is a missed opportunity. To excel at 5 star customer experience I suggest emulating IKOS or Sani CX standards.

Lovely breakfast - good food and drinks in the restaurants- staff were lovely - room was really clean and beds were super comfortable- fluffy towels in the bathroom too

− Limited number of sunbeds around the hotel - not enough for all the guests

The beach is quite possibly the best aspect of this hotel - it is beautiful. The staff were usually on hand to help - and I want to especially thank Daniela for all the help she gave us throughout our stay. Apologies for all the hassle with cancelling our reservation and all that - I now can confidently say that this hotel was worth staying in. Location was far from the city centre, but a 30 minute bus ride brought us straight to the Cathedral so that was quite nice. Breakfast was really nice as well.

− We were told that a parasol or a shade of some sort would be available to us in the room and we discovered, much to our dismay that this was not the case. All in all, though, our room was nice and the overall vibe of the hotel made up for it. What I would comment on, however, is some of the food services. The restaurant/bar on the beach itself (Nixe Beach) did not exceed our expectations - the food especially.
