6.0The staff is great, the breakfasts are excellent, and the air conditioning worked. There was running water, and the underground parking was great. They sell drinks at the reception, and water is available in the hallways. The hotel isn't bad, it’s not at fault, but the town is bad.
− I’ve driven across almost all of France, but I just don’t get Toulon. The hotel itself isn’t bad—the staff are amazing and friendly, and the breakfasts were great—but Toulon is an ugly, dirty city; there are homeless people everywhere, trash is strewn all over, and there’s a terrible stench everywhere you go. Once you drive out of the city, it’s a completely different story. Visiting this city was a huge mistake on my part. The Bastille Day celebrations I went to Toulon for were embarrassing.
