Great well laid out site and relaxing atmosphere
10.0The accommodation site is well laid out and easy to navigate. Very friendly staff and good facilities. The food in the restaurant was fab. Our cabin was on the small side but think we had chosen a basic cabin to stay with our dog and could do with better pillows but the prosecco in the room was a lovely touch and appreciated. Would definitely come back. Great place to stay with our dog who was made welcome and we could sit in a part of the restaurant with him and walk round the site too.
− Better pillows needed in the room that's all

4.0The view of the lake was nice but restricted access due to a wedding that day.
− The hot tub was dirty and not turned on, the only reason I booked the room. The bathroom sink had a large brown stain seeping from the drain hole and there was no hot water the next morning.
Lovely tranquil cabin stay.
8.0Loved the cabin in the woodland. Very tranquil and nice to have your own front door and not be down a hotel corrider when you have a dog staying with you. Cabin was nicely decorated and bedding/towels clean and fresh. Decor a little tired and signal for TV bit patchy. The shower might not suit a taller person but for me was fine. Plenty of teas/coffees and biscuits plus the surprise bottle of prosecco was a nice touch. Was only a short stay passing through but would stay again.
− That I did not stay longer.

6.0Swimming Pool was fair size to exercise in. The place was not busy therefore checked in smoothly, choose own Breakfast time without problem. Woodland setting for cabin was nice, with plenty of squirrels. Room suitable size for purpose of the visit. Free wifi good, with good signal all around site. Staff friendly and welcoming.
− Ability to use wellness facilities only between 7am-10am (same time as breakfast) and 8pm-9pm pretty poor considering your staying in the hotel. Disappointed that the jacuzzi and outdoor hot tubs were all out of action during our stay. We were forewarned but no discounts or compensation given. The gym is fairly small, with maximum dumbell size 20kg. Luckily there was a cable machine to complete a suitable workout but not great. Breakfast had reasonable selection but the cooked breakfast was overcooked on both days, the hot water for tea/decaf coffee was tepid. Not once did they ask about any allergies or intolerance so we had to check or avoid some foods (nut allergies). Accommodation was okay, and I would expect bugs etc given the woodland location, however the room was dusty, and had not seen a vacuum any time recently. Old cobwebs were built up behind furniture and the toilet.

8.0Pool very good , gym very good
− The jacuzzi not work and I can’t enjoy more . My experience just not 10/10 because I book this place special to do jacuzzi. And when I m there not work.
Trust the bad reviews - AVOID
1.0The staff are lovely - its not their fault. Feel sorry for them having to face the customers when this place isn't fit for purpose. Needs millions spent on it. The ducks and squirels are funny to watch.
− See pics - they speak for themselves. This place is truly awful and an insult to paying customers. So tired and neglected throughout. Dull/no atmosphere as nobody there. Booked in haste, despite reviews, for one night before flying out from LBA - thought 'how bad can it be?' How this place is even open and calling itself a 'spa' is beyond me. We saw a handful of other customers - 2 people using resturant and 1 using the bar, and 4 at breakfast. * Room/lodge an utter disgrace* - see pics attached. Breakfast final straw when given rock-hard sausages that had clearly been re-heated from days before. 'Coffee' - not fit for consumption, cups stained. I could go on.... just thankful this was an overnight stay and not a 'holiday'.
