The time we reached the staff was very nice. He made us feel comfortable also he gave us some water-bottles as we reached late at night. Check in was smooth.

− The room itself was okay, but the bathroom was horrible. The sink didn’t work properly at all and kept getting clogged, so we were unable to use it. We also didn’t have enough towels, even though I provided the exact number of guests who would be staying during the booking. We had to compromise on that as well. Overall, the bathroom and lack of basic amenities made the stay quite disappointing. To make matters worse, when I tried to share my concerns with the front desk during checkout, the employee didn’t even seem interested in listening. He was on his phone and did not make an effort to properly address my concerns. Overall, the bathroom issues, lack of basic amenities, and poor customer service made the stay quite disappointing.

My husband and I were traveling to Paso Robles for the Willie Nelson concert at the California Mid-State Fair. The location was literally a block away, so we could walk to it. Perfect. There was plenty of parking. The front office staff was friendly and checked us in quickly. The room was large and comfortable. It conveniently had soaps, lotions, etc. Everything looked new and clean. Great blackout blinds.

− The hot breakfast could have been better. However, it was a nice surprise that they had Oatmeal packets without added sugary ingredients AND good raisins and chopped walnuts. Food I can actually eat. That doesn't happen that often. And, the breakfast staff was very accommodating. One little picky thing about the room: Don't jam the back-up roll of toilet paper behind the toilet paper roll. It makes the open toilet paper roll come off one-sheet-at-a-time unless you use both hands to hold the the extra roll back. Annoying. Oh. And the TV didn't work. But, we were there such a short time, we weren't inconvenienced that much.

Maintenance needed and privacy concern

Check in was prompt and they allowed early check in which was nice! Location was great, a hop and a skip from the event center and downtown. Private parking with on-site security was amazing.

− My wife and I noticed our sink clogged when running the water for more than 5 seconds. When pushing the drain seal a bunch of black debris became dislodged and smelled horrible. It drained out slowly but it just continued to clog up. The staff was very nice about it, however they had no maintenance available to come and fix the sink. They did give us a 20% discount/refund in the end, they offered to switch rooms when available but we weren't going to be at the hotel at that time and decided to stay the last night there. Additionally, check out was by 12pm (noon), and at around 9:30am a housekeeping staff attempted to enter the room. They knocked once announcing themselves but also just immediately started opening the door, giving no time whatsoever to really respond. Luckily we had the bolt on, my wife and I weren't even dressed! I immediately asked the housekeeper from the other side of the door if she had not noticed the 'not ready/do not disturb' sign on the door knob, she replied 'yes so sorry'. If we hadn't had the bolt on the door... well... haha. Either way it felt like a huge breach in privacy.

The amenities: pool, gym, and breakfast. I liked that it was clean and updated. I also liked that there was a washer on my floor. I liked that the staff went out of their way to accommodate my party at the last minute.
