An unexpected gem behind the dated front door to the unit.

1.0Location was good.
− Beetle fell onto my chest while I was in bed. It was from the ceiling or from the fake steer horns hanging on the wall above our head. We showed photos to the front desk clerk Janae. I included a photo of the beetle in this review. Curtain over the window was not attached and looked very disheveled. Bed was also in poor condition and just looked disheveled as well. Door jam was busted. Faucet in the sink was very loose. We were told when we checked in from Janae where the Ice machine was and we went to it only to find a locked door in front of it and a maid then told us it was broken. Went back to front desk to ask for ice and apparently Janae was also the bartender? as we saw no bartender in what looked like a soda fountain area with a pool table next to it, very weird!!!, and she would help us when she got done checking some guests in. Bathtub/shower had an almost a two foot high lip you had to crawl over should you want to take a shower. No thanks. Dangerous. Couldn’t get a copy of the bill because the copy machine was broken. So they did e mail us one. The supposed remodeled room #124 has a refrigerator that has a completely frozen freezer compartment that I have a photo of but you can only include 4 photos in this review. And the closets are unless , not deep enough for hangers, cheep materials, very poor room concept. Someone tried to enter our room at 8:00am while we were still in bed. Don’t know if it was a vagrant, a guest, a maid? We had no do not disturb type sign to hang on the outside of the door. None of this is Janae fault really as she did the best she could but my gosh this place is unbelievable hell hole. If we hadn’t just driven 7 hrs to get there we would have left. We did cancel the 2nd night however.
If coming thru again will stay again.
