It was good could do a little more varty on the eggs like offer omelets fried eggs etc Also serve decaf coffee

− need better pillows they were all dead very flat no support to head or neck also computer chair that works need a bigger pool. just upgrade the pillows

Clean and Functional w/ Great Staff

We selected this Hilton Garden Inn due to its location between my daughter’s apartment and her new home. Our room was clean and the sixth floor was quiet. Lynn Marie took care of us at every breakfast and made sure that we were satisfied. We came in one late afternoon with a Malnati’s pizza and asked the front desk person for some red pepper. He made a special trip to the kitchen area and brought us some in a small cup. He went above and beyond and we really appreciate that. Keep up the good work.

Lynn in the restaurant was fabulous. She made our breakfast so enjoyable. Food and service was very good. She is an excellent waitress.

Great Place to Stay Outside of Chicago

We stayed in a single room for one night, very clean environment. Very quiet, nice location out of Chicago, easy to get to while avoiding toll roads. We had the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. Lynn was our server and she was absolutely lovely. Will definitely stay here again if we're back in Chicago!

Nice hotel, good breakfast

Nice hotel, good value for the money. Would stay here again - we were in town for a family reunion and also appreciated the proximity for a day trip to the city (and IKEA). We had breakfast (the hotel offers à la carte options for waffles and other items in addition to the buffet) and Lynn couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant, she is a true gem!

Overall a good stay—but unexpectedly expensive

Room was clean. Not terribly modern but that’s okay. We were given a voucher to stay here from our airline after a travel day from hell. From the start everyone we interacted with was a gem. Adam took our call from the airport and unfortunately had the pleasure of letting us know there wasn’t a shuttle from the airport despite what the airline had told us. He gave us an economical cab option and was very kind even though we were stressed. Rob at the front desk checked our disheveled butts into the hotel and realized we had nothing but our backpacks. He gave us toothbrushes and toothpaste complementary and helped us track down other toiletry options we could purchase. I went down alone for the breakfast Buffett (15.95 plus tax) and Lynn was just a sweetheart. She noticed I was a hot mess after the rough night and was kind and attentive while I ate. Truly, your team at this hotel is your biggest asset. If I could give any recommendations it would be: At least have a simple toiletry kit for free or one kit with floss, deodorant, a hair brush, toothpaste, etc, rather than paying for each individual piece. Paying for the buffet when I was expecting some sort of food for free was disappointing. Our room was out of lotion and did not have coffee even though there was a coffee maker. So having options besides tea would have been greatly appreciated
