Good location & clean. Getting a bit dated, rooms need more counter space. Hot breakfast lacking.
6.0The sleeping room and bathrooms were both clean. The location is good and close to area stores, restaurants, and is not far from the downtown area, the State Park, and 3 public beaches. Front desk staff was both helpful & friendly.
− The rooms are getting a bit dated and could use much more table/counter space for sure. The absence of an end table on the right side of the bed leaves ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE to put your phone or a drink. Those "kiddie beds" over the top of the air conditioners are a total waste of space! Without appropriate guard rails, NO CHILD should ever be sleeping on one of those. In our opinion, breakfast is lacking just a few major things, HOT EGGS & MEAT. The waffles and coffee were both really good, but the lack of hot eggs meant that the only other real "hot breakfast items" were microwaveable sandwiches. The food that's offered just doesn't quite qualify as A HOT BREAKFAST.

6.0A good budget place for us to stay during our two nights in upstate Michigan. Close drive to beach and pier to watch beautiful sunsets + swim, a must! Simple but good enough breakfast. Clean rooms with a little older standard.
