2.0I just stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Miami Beach and I’m honestly shocked at how bad the experience was. The service was careless, the details were completely overlooked, and the whole stay felt nothing like the Ritz-Carlton I’ve known and trusted for years. It was so bad that I actually requested a refund. I was approved on-site, so I cut my stay short and left — only to end up with a partial refund and a denial of the very promise I was given. That kind of treatment is unacceptable from any hotel, let alone one carrying the Ritz-Carlton name. This property is trading on the Ritz brand without living up to it in any way. For a brand that’s supposed to be the gold standard of hospitality, this was a disgrace to the Ritz legacy. I hope corporate steps in quickly because loyal guests deserve so much better.
