Disgusting hotel! Rusty shower curtain, peeling wallpaper, holes in curtains, telephone not working. Elevators not working. No bacon or milk at breakfast. Computer and printers not working… probably the fire alarms don’t work either. Had 3 people and was given a king bed room. If I don’t like it, I could go somewhere else is what I was told. They brought a cot!

Stayed here 3 nights visiting family in Cleveland. The worst hotel I've ever stayed at in Cleveland, bar none. All 3 elevators were out of service during my stay. Reception stated they would be out of order for a couple of weeks. First room was a converted meeting room on 1st floor with thrown togehter furniture, between two meeting rooms with meetings happening. Gave me a 2nd floor room. Had to lug my stuff up some back stairs, waiting for other guests lugging theirs. My room door's weather stripping was hanging off, told reception, they gave me tape to fix it. Door had damage. Carpeting throughout is filthy. On my floor, there was a garbage bag near the elevators for two of the nights. Both toilet paper rolls were broken. Struggled to open the sliding door as it was so caked with crud, it barely moved. Side entrance door was sort of hanging off one of it's hinges and was unlocked, so no security. Went to get a snack one night and the card terminal was out of order, receptionist did not accept payment or charge room. No one there to help guests carry luggage up flights of stairs. Avoid booking the Crowne Plaza. That brand used to be synonomous with clean, hight quality and excellent service. However, this hotel location is ripping people off because you think you'll get that service based on the name. You will not. It needs a serious remodel and upgrade. There a lot of better hotels in Cleveland to be booked. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Disappointing Hotel Experience

I would not book at this hotel unless you’re looking to be disappointed. I booked via Priceline and was very disappointed with the hotel property and the lack of amenities at the cost we paid. Below is a list of al the issues we had while staying here. • All 3 elevators were broken for the entire stay. • The listing advertised a sauna, but hotel staff informed us that the sauna had not been functional for quite some time and remained locked. • The Crowne Plaza website itself does not list a sauna as an available amenity, raising concerns about the accuracy of the Priceline listing. • The property was advertised with features including an adult-only environment and casino-related amenities that were not available as represented. • The side entrance nearest our room was nonfunctional, requiring us to walk around the building each time we entered or exited. • The pool was intermittently closed during our stay. • Our room showed multiple signs of poor maintenance, including peeling paint on the ceiling, loose fixtures with missing screws, and visible spiders and webs around the windows. •No microwave in room, having to use a shared microwave in the lobby. •Missing and broken curtains on the windows. •Restaurant/Bar closed early every night during the stay. •Continental breakfast was sub par and often out of breakfast items. • no disposable silverware or eating utensils available. • key card got deactivated multiple times. •strong odors in hallways and downstairs near restaurant/Pool. Had the property been accurately represented, we would have selected a different hotel. The combination of unavailable amenities, accessibility concerns, maintenance issues, and inaccurate listing information resulted in a stay that fell well below reasonable expectations.
