10.0Small town but to be expected in this area of Michigan. You can tell the owners of this property are taking painstaking efforts to restore this building to its original and beautiful condition. Everything is as original as they could keep it and the decor and atmosphere is beautiful. It was like stepping back in time.

A lot of potential...but in need of major upgrades
6.0Old hotel with a lot of potential...but not there yet. Being restored, but a lot of work yet to be done. Room was fairly comfortably equipped, but unable to control temperature of the room adequately. Hotel has radiant heat which is centrally controlled, and window unit A/C which was very drafty and cold. Space heater provided, but afraid to use while sleeping, so night time was quite cold. Common areas of the hotel were old and quite dated...major facelift needed.
