4.0I do not recommend this motel. While it is generally clean, many of the services it claimed to offer were not available or operational, including TV, internet, the pool and vending machines. One had to call a phone number for in-person front desk service because no one was on duty. It’s an older motel that was closed for a few years and apparently recently reopened. The first room I was assigned had no working lights in the bathroom. The refrigerator in the second room sounded like a winter storm roaring outside. I asked for a credit for my 5-day stay and was told it was in order. After early checkout (no one was at the front desk again) I was charged the full rate. I called and was promised a call-back by manager, but did not receive it.

6.0Overall, clean enough. Bedding and linens were clean. Shower, toilet and sink were very clean. The basic necessities were in good standing. However, carpet is old and obviously dirty. Previous visitor's bobby pins on the bathroom floor. Obvious need for updating and bringing into close to the recent decade but not the worst place I've stayed. Pool is out of order and "will cost $100k to fix it." So that was a HUGE disappointment as the only reason we chose this hotel for our weekend was to have the pool... Staff is very friendly.
