2.0I stayed at this hotel for one night after booking through Expedia. A few days after my stay, I noticed an unexpected $50 charge on my credit card. I had not caused any damage, used any extra services, or been informed of any additional fees. I called the hotel to ask about the charge. The employee I spoke with told me that they normally would not charge something like that and could not explain why it had happened. She said she would speak with a manager and get back to me regarding a refund. Unfortunately, I never received a call, email, or any follow-up. What upsets me most is not only the unexplained charge, but the lack of communication and customer service afterward. Mistakes can happen, but when a guest contacts a hotel about an unexpected charge, the issue should be investigated and resolved promptly. I am very disappointed with how this situation was handled and hope the hotel improves its customer service and billing practices in the future.
