10.0Been here twice so far and I had a lot of fun both times and the food was great.

2.0I’m unlikely to stay here again or recommend it to others. Upon arrival, my room wasn’t ready, and when I was finally checked in, the room smelled strongly of chemicals and mold. Despite clearly stating I came for a relaxing weekend, I was placed on a floor full of screaming children. They eventually moved me and sent up a cheese board as a gesture, which I appreciated. However, compared to my experience at W Miami—where I was upgraded and received thoughtful service after a minor inconvenience—this stay fell far short. The staff, with the exception of the bellhops and pool service team, were mediocre at best. The hosts at Jaya were actually quite rude, and to top it off, the A/C in Japon was broken and leaked water on me during dinner. This just wasn’t the level of service or experience I’d expect from a supposed luxury property.
