Beautiful villa with lovely views of Alora. The villa was spacious, very clean and the beds were all very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the infinity pool and the laundry room was useful. We stayed here to walk the Caminito del ray trail which was 30 mins easy drive away. Easy to walk into Álora town which is about 15 minutes, plenty of places to eat and friendly locals. Supermarket also close by. Jenny the host met with us the following day and was very helpful with recommendations and information for the wider area. Loved everything about it!

− Nothing that we didn’t like. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and struggled to locate the villa in the dark.

Ruime woning geschikt voor kleine groep

− Het zwembad was vies Het huis had 2 jaar geleden al geverfd dienen te worden, dus muren waren vies, dit geld ook voor de douchekop en toilet. Er waren geen theedoeken, alle vaat stond vies in de kast, deel van de koekenpannen zijn niet meer geschikt om te gebruiken. Te weinig servies, na een rond ontbijt was er geen kopje meer schoon en met de hand afwassen ging niet. Helaas hebben we de wasmachine moeten gebruiken, omdat het strijkijzer vieze vlekken geeft.

L’emplacement La piscine est agréable mais petite par rapport aux photos.

− Tout d’abord lorsque nous sommes arrivés il y avait une rayure sur tout le flan de notre véhicule de location car la taille de l’allée n’était pas réalisée. Le descriptif parle de 4 chambres. En réalité c’est 3 + 1 avec donc 3 clims. Donc une chambre n’est pas climatisée. Au sujet des clims, les filtres étaient tous sales…..lorsqu’il y en a…Dans la chambre de l’étage la Clim fait du bruit. Nous l’avons signalé mais aucune intervention. Il y a des odeurs dans les salles de bain. Il n’y a aucun 1er nécessaire du style café, sel, poivre, sac poubelle. Il y a tres peu d’ustensiles de cuisine. C’est une maison qui peut accueillir au moins 3 couples et il y a que 3 verres á pied et aucun saladier pour faire une salade. Nous avons dû les demander. La poubelle est une 20 ou 30 litres aucunement adaptée á 3 couples. Il y a très peu de confort extérieur. Des fauteuils mais aucun coussin. On nous a dit de prendre les ceux du salon. Enfin le logement n’est pas sécurisé. Plusieurs marin un chien était présent et nous avions une petite de 1 an. Nous étions à Malaga pour le championnat du monde de Karting à Campillos. Nous avons raté une session car nous ne voulions pas laisser les épouses et la petite seule. Nous en avons parlé et la réponse a été de téléphoner à la gendarmerie. Pour des français c’est impossible. Donc très très déçu du logement. Je ne recommanderais pas Booking.

Gorgeous house and the best location

The house is absolutely stunning. The pool is beautiful (not heated, but that was fine given the gorgeous weather). The house is huge and really beautifully laid out downstairs. We didn't require AC once nor heating at night. The house is extremely well insulated, so it remained at a comfortable temperature 24 hours a day. Lovely high ceilings too. The grounds are so beautiful, replete with plants and flowers. You feel like you're in paradise. It's so peaceful and quiet there. The view is to die for and the area is the best location for Alora. 6 mins to town, and the drive is easy compared to other locations we've stayed in. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are well stocked with extra pillows, blankets etc.. And have blackout shutters so you hear no noise and there's no light coming through at all! Also there is a hairdryer with a diffuser - great if you have curly hair. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic.

− The wifi is appalling. We couldn't watch any streaming services. They really need to improve it. My brother lives up a remote mountain nearby and has the best wifi. The kitchen looks very nice, but be warned, there is no salt, pepper, oil, kitchen roll. No basics at all. In the bathroom you are supplied with a very generous amount of soap, shower gel and shampoo, but no conditioner, which again is minor, but would be useful to know for us ladies! The red coffee machine that you see in the images is not available. There is one of those Italian coffee pots you put on the hob or a drip coffee machine that requires filters. I found the communication okay, but vague. When I asked about the coffee machine I was told "Italian" which meant very little to me, so I went by the image I saw and bought pods for that red machine that doesn't exist. Not the end of the world, just needs better description for newcomers. Also, be warned. Check in is at 5pm. Which is very late by most people's/Airbnb/hotel standards. None of these are deal breakers, they just need to be perhaps a bit more descriptive and also must improve the wifi for the amount of money being charged.
