PERFECT Location in Luxor
10.0For us, this was the absolute perfect location in Luxor. The hotel is situated along the Corniche, between Karnak and Luxor Temples. I strongly recommend a Nile View room with balcony. It is great for watching hot air balloons over the west bank with morning coffee and watching street life unfold in the evenings. The room was clean and had all the necessities (coffee/tea/toiletries) for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was fabulous. Breakfast buffet was included with our stay and was well appointed. We also ate all our dinners at the hotel over our 3 night stay. Good and tasty a la carte menu options at a very fair price. Pool restaurant has great lunch pizza. ALL staff members are super friendly and ready to assist. I do not hesitate recommending this hotel.

Tranquil, spacious and welcoming
10.0We had a wonderful 6 night stay in early March. We arrived early morning sleepy from the sleeper train from Cairo and the team were immediately welcoming. They arranged immediate check in so that we could rest after a sleep deficit which was the most perfect start to our stay. The room was lovely, bright, clean and spacious with a good balcony overlooking the pretty pool area and the Luxor Temple gates and Sphinx walk. We added an extra night and were upgraded to a superior double with a Nile view looking over to Hapshetsut's Temple visible with the naked eye. Breakfasts were fabulous, offering a great range of tasty food. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Karam and Ahmad. The location is perfect with the museum and ferry only a few minutes walk away, the temple only 5 minutes along the riverside and Karnak is an easy 20 minute walk. The pool was freezing but as the daytime temperatures rose it was perfect for a cool down and was a really tranquil space to escape the city noise. A wonderful spacious hotel with a fabulous team who work hard to make your stay enjoyable.
A Great Hotel to stay in Luxor
10.0We, a family of 4 pax, enjoyed very much our 3 night stay at the Aracan Hotel in Luxor. Our two double bed rooms were very clean, spacious and with a balcony with an unobstucted and great view over Nile. Buffet breakfast had a large variety of foods, and very courteous staff brought additional drinks and food as requested. The hotel had in the first floor a large lobby with many seats and a restaurant around a swimming pool to sit and relax. Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple were within walking distance, and the promenade was just in front of the hotel to enjoy a walk.Tourist agency was available on-site to arrange touristic visits.

Luxor
6.0Average hotel, staff is amazing and great. Great location. Bad is nothing has been done to this hotel since maybe the 1960s or when it was built. For the price and location its a good value. Take your ear plugs as well.
