Fiddlers Inn review
2.0I would recommend you to find another place to stay then fiddlers inn. Unfortunately the Fiddlers inn is nothing like the pictures online, nor the description. It’s located in a cozy part of town, and the outside looks really promising. Most of the staff seems nice, but the rooms were quite literally disgusting. We were 6 people, and we had booked three different rooms. The first thing that hit us when we walked in ALL three rooms were the strong smell of cigarettes and weed. In one of the rooms the tv didn’t work and the microwave wouldn’t shut off, which resulted in us getting one new room that weren’t much better. The floors where really dirty in all rooms as well as the curtains, and my supposed new bedsheets were BURNT holes into, there were also a dried up lens on my made bed which I find really disgusting. We had roomservice after the first night, but for the rest of the stay (7 days in total) they did not clean our room even though we hang out a sign for maidservice on the doorknob. I will say this; it looks like many of the rooms are under reconstruction/development so hopefully all this gets better in the future, but I kind of doubt it when it’s cleaning and hygiene that seems to be the biggest problem.
Never Again
2.0This was our third and last time staying here. We love the location and the price BUT after the last time we will defiantly pay more and stay somewhere else. We are not high maintenance BUT they literally had to move us 3 times and it was still gross. Someone was in our first room. (I guess that an issue. Front desk told us the homeless and drug addicts find a way to get in the rooms and stay till asked to leave) Second room had puke on the wood on the side of the bed. The thought still grosses me out. Third room, well I just got tired of moving. Cigarette burns in the comforters etc. I guess since nee owners took over they let it go to s.t! I would rather pay more and stay in a clean place than if they paid me to stay that’s how much it went down hill. (The couple we traveled with never had to switch rooms but they complained about coterie burns and stains on sheets and mold around door etc. We all agreed, never again!
Prostitution & drugs
2.0We’ve stayed here a couple times , it’s never been great but it was cheap & location was great . This past Saturday was it for me though , metro was dragging a couple drug addicts out of a room & arresting them on our arrival & when uber dropped us off later that night there were prostitutes getting picked up from the front office . Whole place reeks of weed & cigarettes. VERY SKETCHY GHETTO PLACE . Avoid @ all costs .
Night life was very approving
10.010/10 would stay again. I slept with one eye open and a hand gripped tightly on my pocket knife. Sounds of banging on my door were alarming at first until I realized Dana was on the other side. She sounded like she had a grand time. All my outlets were working and I slept on the floor as both beds were covered in a sticky substance of which I’m not going to discuss. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A drug deal went down later in the night outside of my door. Grand time
Bad Experience
2.0We were very disappointed in our room. We stayed November 9-12 for the Opry show. This is a list of issues in room #180. 1) the thermostat did not work on the heater. I had it set to 64 but it never cut off. We had to use it since it turned 36 degrees Monday. We should have moved to another room but that was a lot of trouble. 2) plaster was falling from ceiling above shower. Also the shower was loose. 3) no way to use the coffee maker since the coffee holder was missing. 4) the tv would not work. Manager had to bring us another tv. 5) the 110v outlet by the door had no power. 6) the lamp above the desk did not work. 7) the front of the middle drawer on the 3 drawer chest was missing completely. We will never stay at this hotel again.
Very sketch
2.0Hotel was rundown. I gave him a credit card for my incidentals had already paid with a third-party full balance. They charged me the full balance again and I had to dispute it on my credit card. Tried to talk to the manager to get the refund. Ignored me wouldn’t answer my calls. It was a real hassle. I wouldn’t stay there very sketch, Hotel and management.
