We stayed at the Bell Rock hotel at Hugh Town on St Mary's. Good hotel, helpful staff. Beautiful scenery, and some beautiful beaches, a gentler pace and way of life. You can't take your own vehicles over, so there is no traffic congestion. For me that is a big plus - and yes I am a driver. Means of getting around - walking,hiring a golf buggy. There are vehicles but they are residents own. Well worth a visit, and yes I would go again.

Ladies Trip

The Sunny, not yet a Hilton-run property but soon to be. Went with my sister in honor of her 55th birthday. Location of this hotel is perfect, with a great beach and walkability to various stores/restaurants in Sunny Isles. Since it’s recently been updated/refreshed, the color schemes and design elements are spot on! It exceeded my expectations. I requested a high floor for our four night stay, and was very pleased to be on 10th floor in a queen/queen room. Matthew, Front Desk Director was so helpful! The bathroom worked out fine for two ladies, a dual-vanity would have been preferred but I don’t think queen/queen rooms come with that. We ate at all food outlets at The Sunny, and nothing disappointed. Chef has nailed his presentations and quality. Loved Julene for breakfast every day, and service was perfect in such a lovely, modern setting. We loved our baristas at Lovebirds Cafe - delicious coffee, I asked the brand but I forgot, I should have taken note so I can order some to be delivered at home. Beach and ocean were wonderful, no sargassum, and we enjoyed our pier walks daily which is right next to the property. Crystal clear gorgeous water! From the pier, we saw a huge ray swim by, a couple of 5-6’ sharks, tons of needle fish, little Snappers, one jelly fish and several little rays. A lot of fishermen, women and kids, was fun to watch them get that “catch”. I would like to return to The Sunny, and hope to see the same wonderful employees that were so kind and gracious - Jonathan in Julene was so friendly and such a nice manager. Matthew at Front Desk was so helpful, as well as everyone else we interacted with but I can’t remember everyone’s names. I miss you all.

Beautiful Hotel, Exceptional Service

Everyone in our family loved our time at The Sunny! We traveled with our children ages 4-9, and with grandparents. The pool was perfect for all ages. From the stunning hotel design vibes both inside and out to the beautiful ocean views, we all would rate this hotel a 10/10. The recent remodel is fresh and fun - we loved the cheery room vibes and design colors used. The yellow striped robes in the closets are such a fun touch! If traveling with children, the suites are a great space with room dividers. We enjoyed sitting on the beautiful balcony at night after the kids fell asleep. While all of the these things were wonderful, the best part of our stay was the exceptional customer service we received from the staff at The Sunny. The kindness and professionalism shown by Matthew, Nahum, Zac, Julio, Max and their teams is top notch. They truly go above and beyond to serve their guests well. The kind of service we received is what sets this hotel apart. We are already dreaming about our next visit!

Terrible, stay away

Terrible hotel and despite claiming itself “renovated” it definitely doesn’t give the impression as property is dirty and a disgrace. Service is terrible, front desk manager terrible and breakfast is a joke. First day, I ordered eggs and after about 15-20 minutes, they came back saying “no eggs” so had to order something else. Next day, my breakfast took more than one hour. When I complained to front desk manager, he offered complimentary breakfast and that’s it. The price is absurd, stay away from this property and hope Hilton scrutinizes them more to be considered a “Hilton” brand.
