We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, our hotel wedding coordinator made the entire planning process feel organized, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. She was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and always one step ahead, making sure every question and request was handled quickly. On our wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. She coordinated with vendors, kept the timeline on track, and made sure every detail was exactly as we envisioned, allowing us to relax and actually enjoy the day with our family and friends. We never had to worry about a thing. The hotel itself was beautiful, and the service from the staff exceeded our expectations, but our coordinator was truly the reason everything came together so perfectly. Her professionalism, kindness, and dedication made all the difference. If you’re considering hosting your wedding here, we can’t recommend it highly enough. Our day was absolutely perfect, and we’re so grateful for everything she did to make it that way. Thank you for helping create memories we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives!

No power - no problem!

The first night of our stay Vail experienced a 12 hour power outage, lightning strike of a transmission line. The owner and staff were ever present and did a remarkable job considering the situation. The commitment to all the guest really showed that evening. Will definitely return!!

Beautiful stay in Vail

We had a great first stay at Sonnenalp Vail. The hotel was beautiful, and the suite was perfect for a family of 3 with two balconies overlooking the pool area. The service was impeccable. One of our best hotel experiences for the combination of facilities and services.

Cozy and Extremely Hospitable

Our visit somehow immediately felt like home and we were only there one night. The coziness of the Sonnenalp paired with the absolutely welcoming and friendly service was truly comforting and will be forever memorable. We loved all the ammenities: a tasty breakfast in a gorgeous sunroom, lounging by the pool/river, hanging by the fire in the library, relaxing on our gorgeous patio. The location couldn't have bene more convenient for walking through town and to the Ford Ampitheatre. It was a sensational visit from check in to check out with extreme hospitality shared along the way.
