VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
6.0When we arrived at the hotel, there was no one at the desk, and a sign that said the clerk would return shortly. I stood at the desk for about 10 minutes and then pushed the "ring" button on the counter. No one answered. After a couple of minutes, I pushed the "ring" button again, and nothing. I walked out to the car and told my husband, son, and his wife that I couldn't check in because no one was at the desk. They all proceeded to come inside with me, and we pushed the "ring" button again, and nothing. We sat in the reception area for about 20 minutes, and I got up and went back up to the desk and pushed the "ring" button AGAIN. FINALLY a lady answered and asked how she could help me. I told her that we were trying to check in, and she said that someone would be there in a few minutes. Well, after another 10-12 minutes, a man walked in the door, and my son said that it looked like he had come from the pub right next door. He asked how he could help us, and I told him that we needed to check in, and he looked on the computer for our reservation, and had me fill out a paper. After that, (which had taken about 10 minutes), I told him that we had been there for over a half an hour waiting to check in. He looked at his watch and said that it had only been 8 minutes. (I didn't want to go there, so decided to keep my mouth shut, as I knew how long we had been there). The fridge in our room didn't work, but on a good note, the beds were very comfortable.
