Vacation disaster orchestrated by Greenspring

Greenspring has been our go to destination for a few years. This trip was a disaster and we hope it was an anomaly, not a trend downward. At check in the condo smelled horribly of tobacco smoke. We call front desk and asked to change rooms but were told since we booked 2 units, one being first floor it would be difficult to change. They offered box fan to help. My spouse has asthma and we spent the next 3 hours with every door and window open, box fan and every other fan in the condo running. My wife used a Nebulizer to stop a full blown asthma attack. We would have left that day but we took our grandkids on the trip and did not want to disappoint them. Got smell to tolerable level. Filled refrigerator with groceries and a couple of hours later discovered refrigerator was not working. Called front desk at 8:30p and was told tech would be there asap. At 11:15p I called to find out how much longer and was told techs left a 11p, would get to us is the am. $50+ food ruined. Combine this with sparse furnishings, no clocks, no table or bench for luggage in the bedroom (used DR chair), mold in ice tray and 6 ac compressors outside our bedroom window made the stay complete. We were there 3 days and never heard from management. Our dilemma, we have 4 nights scheduled for August, do we roll the dice or change to another location we have used in the past.

Imagine 1 heart condition and 1 broken leg, 3 flights of stairs and NO ELEVATOR! Nevermind luggage

This was my experience as a first time visitor. At check in, I am told that they have us on the 3rd floor and refuse to accommodate us on a lower level. Fully booked was the response, but strangely so many empty parking spaces which you wouldn’t expect being fully booked. I am recovering from a broken leg and my fiancé has a heart issue. 3rd floor, 2 flights each floor. NO ELEVATOR! Where was the warning?
