Check in was easy. Parking in the back is $12 a day which is not bad for downtown. Excellent location for visiting the Forks, Canadian Human Rights Museum, Winnipeg Waterways, etc. The room and facility was clean. The AC in the room worked perfectly but the hallways and common areas were very hot. We did visit during a heat wave but it didn’t seem they used AC for these areas or it was turned very low so it was quite warm in these areas. Our bed was comfortable but it seemed like the boxspring was broken or something because it was noisy. The shower ceiling and tub surround showed signs of water damage that had not been properly repaired and was painted over, but it wasn’t terrible. Just not pretty and gave the shower a bit of a dingy, run down feeling. The free breakfast was not very good. Too many people struggled to get anything because they do not keep items well stocked, even something as simple as forks and hard boiled eggs. Do not recommend relying on getting a decent breakfast here. OEB is just down the street. Go there and get a proper breakfast and coffee. The price reflects the hotel. It’s more affordable than an air bnb and most hotels in the area. While decor is a dated, it’s safe and clean and you should be able to get a good sleep. While nothing fancy at all, I would stay here again since I do not spend much time in the room.

Great staff and location. Our room was clean and well-maintained. The water temperature and pressure were the best we have experienced at a hotel in quite some time!

− The breakfast was "meh" - too little variety and medium to low quality. No fresh fruit or granola for the yogurt. No fluffy eggs and on the "little pancake" day, no eggs at all. On the sausage and patty with round eggs and biscuit day, no cheese slices or other options. The bathroom had no fan and after showers the room would be very humid and the room system had a tough time catching up on clearing it. We thought there was a safe in the room for valuables, but there wasn't so we did not feel comfortable with leaving extra cash or our passports. The "little" (dare I say "minimalistic") soap and shower supplies were inadequate.

What a wonderful hotel, great atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning great and much appreciated during this July heatwave. Perfect location. So nice to have a breakfast to start the day. Our room was at the back so very quiet. I imagine there would be more noise on the Main Street side though. Thank you to all your hard working friendly and accommodating staff for making it a lovely 5 night stay.
