Neat town. Hotel was nice, staff was nice, enjoyed my float in the pool.
10.0I was happy about the pool. Been riding motorcycle since Monday (this was Thursday) so it was nice to just float for a while before dinner.
− No coffee maker in the room and lobby didn't open until 7:30 am so walked to convenience store for coffee at 5am.

− The pool and hot tub facilities were run down and there were bugs in the room
Room adequate although a bit dark; don’t count on much of a breakfast
5.0Location in Salida, easy to get to, adequate
− Breakfast fell short. I chose to stay here because others said breakfast was good. It was a basic cereal, toast, yogurt kind of thing and not near adequate for the number of people at the hotel. People were lined up and far out-numbered the amount of coffee that was ready, there were about six teabags, muffins kind of stale… I had to go out for eats.

2.0− Can not believe they are closed until 4 pm.Totally unacceptable if you show up early there is no one there and the lobby is locked. What decent hotel does that. I've never in all my travels been to a hotel that is closed until that time in the afternoon. I'll Never book at this place again.
Enjoyed it very much and will definitely stay there again.
