7.0The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Taksim square and the metro station. Also just a 3 minute walk to the stop for the airport shuttle bus. Bed was very comfy and the room was soundproofed so blocked out noise from the streets below. Staff very friendly and helpful.
− The room was a bit smaller than expected. Decor tired, and a bit dirty looking, although the room was clean. It states that robes are provided but they're weren't any.

1.0− This was an entirely unsatisfactory experience. The hotel is billed as a four star establishment, but when I got there the manager said it was a "bed and breakfast." The room is a broom closet and there is no gym. I did not check in after viewing room and moved to a good hotel around the corner (the Central Palace Taksim). The manager refused to refund the money despite the misleading advertising. Booking.com would not intervene despite hosting the advertising on its side. I won't be using Booking.com after this disappointing experience.
