Great staff, clean.

The showers were absolutely perfect. Great water pressure, perfect temps. The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, stocked, comfy cozy.

− The breakfast was ok. Nothing wrong just was expecting different. The tv in our room (2 bedroom room) didn't work or have a remote in one bedroom. The tv in living area space did not to connect to cable either had to use our kids switch hooked up.

We were in Huntsville for our granddaughter's wedding. The Residence Inn was in the mist of major renovations on the first floor and partial second floor. There was nothing stated at the time I made this reservation the horrible condition of the hotel. We could only walk into the lobby as far as the hotel desk and after checking in, we had to exit the hotel and enter at the end of the hotel. The floors and walls were down to the cement. No access to the lobby breakfast room (we had to go to hotel room 114 for breakfast - which was the one of the worst breakfasts we have had at a Residence Inn) and we could not walk down the corridor from the lobby to the elevator. So we had to exit the lobby, enter through a door at the end of the hotel and walk all the way back around to the elevator. There was also mass renovations on the 2nd floor. I requested adjacent rooms for my son, who also stayed at this Residence Inn. He was given rooms keys to a room adjacent to ours - they didn't work, so he went back to the front desk and received new room keys - they didn't work, so he had to change to a room on a different floor. Again, the second floor also had major renovations. There is no way this hotel should have remained open during these major renovations. Since several members of our family were attending our granddaughter's wedding, I had encouraged them to stay at this hotel. I was embarrassed that I had due to the condition of the hotel. I could have booked at a Super 8 or Motel 6 and the hotel conditions would have been an improvement.

The two-bedroom that we choose to stay in was very nice and comfortable. There was construction going on for a remodel which was half-way completed. The staff was very friendly and helpful during this process.

− The breakfast was good for what was offered but not what was advertised. This was due to the construction in which was not known to us until we arrived. We did not let this ruin our stay but a lack of communication on Marriott's part that needs to be told to customers prior to their arrival for their stay.

The stay was great .room was great breakfast and staff was great and kind .
