9.0The service was excellent, location beautiful.
− Initially the check in was listed as 5pm- I understand it is to give time for housekeeping but that is too late. This is also significant in you are paying 400 plus a night. Having said that we received a message that an earlier check in may be available, if we had known that was possible we would have planned differently. We attended the Grotto Spa, it was excellent, the staff were also excellent but the automatic gratuity is problematic. I don’t have an issue with tipping but it should be at my discretion.

Room was spacious and well equipped but hot water shortage and the dirty,smelly bathroom

− Bathroom was poorly maintained, smelly. There was a lack of hot water in the shower both at night and in the morning.

We were there for one night. Had a ground floor unit with no view but the beds were very comfy.
