A nice surprise
8.0In years past we have stayed here and I have to say my son and I were impressed with the improvements from our last stay. It was bright clean and comfortable.

8.0It has been a long time since we stayed in a motel and frankly, most get a bad rap. Also, it is clear that this one had some exterior doors that needed attention (dents, etc.), but when we opened the door to our suite, we were pleasantly surprised! First, it satisfied our requirements: 3 beds. We are traveling with two teenagers, in addition to my wife and I, so this one hit that mark. And the beds themselves were pretty comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the spaciousness of our bedroom as it also had a desk and chair. We did not see that coming in a motel! Also, it had a pretty large refrigerator which was great for us because we were traveling on roadtrip for a week between Chicago and Toronto/Niagara Falls and Montreal. This motel in London was our final stop before heading back to Chicago the next day. Also, while we didn't have much time to explore the area, my wife and I did manage to drive to downtown London the evening we stayed. There was a large festival in a park down there, and it was fun to see people having a good time and pretty orderly about it. We also found a restaurant to grab a bite. It really hit the marks for us, and I thought it was the best value of the three accommodations we had in Canada.
