A welcoming hotel staff, delicious breakfast, and a comforting room.
10.0We were staying at a previous hotel that we needed to leave, and booked the Montecarlo as a last resort. What we found was the best hotel experience we could’ve asked for. When we showed up, we were greeted by amazingly knowledgeable and kind hotel staff that made sure our room met our needs. She then asked about our itinerary and pulled out a map of Rome, and gave us a detailed description of where to go given the length of our stay. We used many of her recommendations, including a Gelato place right by the hotel! The room itself was very spacious and clean, with a good sized bathroom. The location itself was very close to the city center but not too close for crowds or lines. We used the local bus system to get around. Our favorite part of our stay was the breakfast. From fresh fruit to pastries to delicious coffee, the self-served breakfast made our morning. Everyday, the hotel staff greeted us, and were always available, 24/7 for any concerns we had. One of the best parts of our trip!
