10.0The staff were absolutely excellent.
− The pool closes too early.
Exceptional resort.
10.0This is our absolute favorite Marriott property. From the momentum you walk in the door you fell the warmth of the staff. The valets are exceptional, particularly Mike who has been there a long time. He is helpful, friendly and efficient. The front desk staff is top notch and goes out of their way to spend time discussing the expansive resort. The common spaces, lobby, bar and grounds are meticulous. Rooms are large and are decorated in a native american motif - very relaxing. The excellent bedding provides for a great night sleep. The pool area abuts the river and overlooks the golf course and has lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas. Rooms are large and well maintained. The onsite restaurant, Ko'sin, is exceptional and reflects the culture of the Gila River Indian Tribes. Bradley, Micah, Steve and Stacey deserve particular kudos. Hanyo, the poolside restaurant has a nice variety of bar foods and drinks. Addison, a bartender, is a true gem. Kai, the upscale 5 star fine dining restaurant is as good as any Michelin Star restaurant in the world and reservations should be made 3 months in advance. The hotel provides a free, frequent shuttle to the golf course, Phoenix Premium outlets and the Gila River Casino. The ethos of the property is what makes it special and obviously should be attributed to the senior management.
Wouldn’t do it again. Love AZ but felt like a mockery of native population
4.0Pretty and smelled good
− Rooms not sound proof, charged for self parking in the middle of nowhere

10.0Lovely property, great pool and fitness center, quiet, friendly and helpful staff,
− Not a thing to complain about.
Outstanding service from a Outstanding resort.
10.0As frequent guest at the resort, we anticipate excellence service from check in to the restaurants, pool, lounges and spa. This stay was no exception. We do have one member that provided exceptional service, Daisy. Daisy went way beyond to take care of our not usual request for distilled water. In addition, every time we passed thru the lobby she came and greeted us and ask if there was anything else she could help with. Staff members with this kind of customer service are In deed assets to the organization. Ron and Barbara Wilkinson
A desert's jewel
10.0This is a proper luxury resort in the middle of the desert. The hotel is beautiful, drawing inspiration from the Gila River Indian Community. The rooms are ample, well furnished, with lots of storage and the signature Bonvoy bed. The staff is well trained and super attentive. The Conference Center is very functional and comfortable. Unfortunately, the food could be better. I had dinner at Ko'sin and the lobby bar. Both experiences were disappointing in terms of food quality. Not terrible, but they don't live up to the hype.
