Everything! Villa was beautiful, staff were awesome, Chef Junior, Ferry Ricky, Restaurant Manager, Location, Food was awesome and the entertainment, the lift to your Villa so you didn’t have to walk up the stairs, and the Villa was 3 stories- so cute and clean and had everything you needed to feel comfortable! Definitely will be back! Just a little paradise!

Everything was perfect!

Resort in dire need of a complete overhaul, very sad as the bay is beautiful

2.0

Marigot bay is naturally very pretty. Clear water, lush greenery all around. The apartment itself was fine, spacious with a big balcony and the promised amenities were there. If it was part of a different resort this might be a different review. Spoke briefly to the porter, waitress and person in the office when I checked out. All were very nice.

TL:DR - this resort is run down and empty to the point of feeling a bit abandoned. The only restaurant/bar on site is a pool hall serving (what appears to be) microwaved frozen food. The “beach” is a dirty patch of sand that actually feels unsafe at night (it is nothing like the picture on Booking.com). We were there in the first week of June, so granted not peak season, but the place felt like a ghost town. I feel a bit sad to write this review as it’s pretty negative, but doing it as fair warning to others. We booked in for five nights but within two hours of arriving we had booked alternative accommodation. If it wasn’t already the evening when we arrived, we’d have left immediately, but as it was, we had to stay the night and left first thing the next morning. We have never done anything like this before, but we were desperate not to spend the last days of our two week trip here. Oasis Marigot is very hard to access. The bay itself is down a long, very steep and narrow road. Then there is a shuttle boat across the water to the resort. We did know this and had imagined a quiet, private retreat, but unfortunately it’s more of a ghost town. There are no shops around the bay at all and the one restaurant we could see on the port side was deserted. There is only one restaurant/bar on the Marigot oasis side of the bay. It is called Doolittles and reminded us of a seedy casino bar or grimy pool hall, complete with sticky carpets, flashing neon signs, dated decor and terrible food (we had pizzas - worse than the cheapest frozen supermarket kind, cooked in a microwave. It’s quite big and was almost totally empty at 7pm, apart from a small crew of what we assumed were regulars, all glued to the bar. The “beach” is a small patch of scrubby sand with a few battered sunbeds and some wobbly steps into the sea.

Great value, super clean, lovely welcome

10.0

Great value, super clean and nicely comfortable. Perfect for a few days in St Lucia. Irwin is so welcoming and helpful with great recommendations. We had a lovely stay. The bay is very pretty although you probably need a car. We had a wonderful driver called Verdley (Verdley taxis) who took us to the must do’s of the volcano mud baths (not as muddy as it sounds!), tet Paul walk by the pitons, hotel chocolat and waterfalls.

Irwin Miranda and Ricky made our stay wonderful! They were proactive in coordinating transportation, dinners, and were always cheerful and friendly to see. Thank you! The views from the villas are stunning. Food in the area could be better, but the villa margot is an amazing restaurant if you go there. Overall, we're very happy we decided to stay here and it was perfect for our restful vacation.
