1.0Nothing! and the owners response to my review.
− An error with our booking, 3 rooms were booked only need two rooms. I called the owner and asked if he would refund the third room. He said NO. He then scolded me for using Booking.com and not calling him directly. When I checked in at the hotel, they only gave me TWO rooms, I asked about the third room I had prepaid. Still no refund, I had to ask for the keys to the third room. Two of our rooms needed the cable boxes replaced. The total prepay was $396 for one night! Ridiculous! I would like to clarify two points in response to the owner's comments. First, Booking.com advised me that any refund request had to be handled directly by the property. That is why I contacted the owner immediately after discovering that three rooms had been booked instead of the two I needed. In my past experiences with hotels booked through Booking.com, I have always worked directly with the hotel or owner to resolve booking issues, and those situations were handled professionally and courteously. Second, when I checked in, I was given keys to only two rooms, even though I had prepaid for three. I had to ask for the key to the third room before it was provided. I did not refuse or decline the third room, nor did I request a refund after using it. My refund request was made before check-in, immediately after I discovered the booking error. My disappointment was not simply that the refund was denied, but in the way the situation was handled. Rather than receiving understanding or assistance, I was scolded for using Booking.com instead of booking directly with the property. Whether a reservation is made directly or through a booking platform, I believe every guest deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect. For the record, the total prepaid amount was $396 for one night. While I understand that refund policies vary, I believe the facts should be accurately represented.

7.0We have stayed here every summer for the past three summers, as we make our way to Colorado for an industry expo. It is the perfect stop after a long day of driving from Orange County, CA.
− I would appreciate a way to tip staff using Venmo or other electronic means. I rarely carry cash, especially in smaller bills, and I want to be able to share my appreciation.
Relaxing stay. There was a few families at the pool. Children laughing and playing. It was nice to see everyone enjoying
10.0Location and value. Facilities were clean and comfortable.

6.0The room is spacious, with a couch, big bed, microwave and a coffee pot, TV and refrigerator. The breakfast was very good, though simple.
− Our lights didn't come on in the room when we walked in it was very dark, started looking for light switches, none. Come to find out the lights have to be turned on on the lamp with a switch. The shower leaked from the faucet, you couldn't turn it off all the way. There are no locks on the windows, and you have to go down stairs for ice, that was inconvenient. The carpet was wore out and seemed dirty, although the room itself was clean. No extra toilet paper in bathroom, had to go downstairs to get more.
