Glad our stay was only for one night. The hallway smelled of mold and the room was a big disappointment. We were on the first floor in building one and had a window air conditioner in the living area so there was no way to close the curtains in that area. Directly outside our window were the containers and Pods for construction so there was a lot of noise and activity right outside our room. The electrical panel was opened and there was silver tape around it. The shower area was moldy and the bath tub looked like the finish was scrubbed off . In the morning we noticed that most of the other first floor room had a window air conditioner but the upper floors did not, nor did the other buildings. We almost always stay at a Marriott property, and this is the first time we were so very disappointed.

When we arrived at 9:30 PM we were informed our reservation had been canceled.

− They canceled our reservation without notice. We arrived after traveling over 12 hours and were informed our room was not available. They told us they tried to call and email. They did not. They lied. They sent us to another hotel that was not near where we needed to be

So I had reservation for this Sunday June 7th for 1 night. I always check if prices go down on app. Well seemed there are no available rooms this week or the next nor the Sunday I booked. So I looked up if they are refurbishing rooms. Yes said Google ..which is great. I called tonight (4 days from my stay) and asked if they are refurbishing..yes we are. So asked “do I have a room”. He said ‘let me check’….’no, no you don’t’. Mind you I haven’t received an email, text or a call about this…I was the one who called them. I said ‘can I change to the 28th of June for same price’. He replied ‘Yes but the price is 195 but for your trouble I can give to you for 175’. .and that’s without the tax. I had it for 161 with the tax…I said no thank you I’ll go to Hilton. He said ‘do you want me to cancel’. Well obviously if I have no room..which I booked in April. Imagine if I didn’t call to check and got off a plane and got to hotel for them to say sorry out of luck! Mind you I also just yesterday got an email from them if I want to upgrade my room there. Which I tried but it said no available upgrades (which is normal this late) I’ve been going to this hotel literally since they opened years and years ago. No more.

It was a really nice day for the family especially our little children

It was beautiful and scenic, multiple activities for the family

− We ordered a king size bed but they gave us a queen
