Short and not sweet. Wish the Tv worked, shower door worked and bathroom faucet worked… next.
2.0Room 802… the shower door didn’t stay open… ever, so I had to hold it with my foot when showering. The top of the bathroom faucet in room 802 falls right off if you lift up on it…. The television did not work in the one night I wanted to watch it for an hour and relax… and the friggen $20 extra to park a night. This place sucked and I was very disappointed in the lack of quality and maintenance.

Lovely Lina & A Staybridge Story
10.0I had zero issues locating the (included) airport shuttle pickup and had enjoyed a wonderful ride with a 61yr old driver from Houston who regaled me with stories of life, his six sons, modern tech and modern romance. I wish we’d exchanged names! At the time, I was laughing so much, it slipped my mind. What a great introduction to this property. I was likely still smiling when I approached the check-in desk. Early. It was just before noon. Check-in was at 3pm. I was fully prepared to leave my suitcases and have some coffee until check-in time. But that wasn’t in the cards. Two young ladies at the desk immediately looked up and smiled welcomingly. I had the good fortune to veer toward Lina. As her counterpart attended another guest who’d approached right after me, Lina deftly managed to answer her colleague’s questions necessary to service the other customer, without missing either a conversational OR service beat with ME. I really wish I’d taped this. I’ve never seen anything like it. It was the kind of smooth professional proficiency one might expect from a superhuman. I can’t remember the specifics, but what I recall was her kindness to her coworker, that actually caused me involuntarily to comment out loud “oh my goodness - that’s so nice!” But back to my early check in. Do you KNOW how Lina responded to my half-apologetic acknowledgement of my early arrival and wondering if they might have a room? Here’s what she said: “Oh! No trouble at all. I see you right here. Your room’s been ready & waiting for you ma’am. In fact, you’ve been upgraded to one of our suites…” Now here’s where Lina clinched the Cosmos Customer Service Trophy. She asked for the card I’d used to make the reservation. I gave it to her. She next told me she’d need me to insert it - or any card I preferred really - into the slot for incidentals. I selected the card I wished to use, (which was not the original reservation card) and we completed the transaction, with her wishing me a safe flight the next day and reminding me to reserve the shuttle when I decided what time I wished to leave. It wasn’t until I got to my jaw-dropping, bi-level, room-with-a-view suite, that I even realized that the original card had been DECLINED due to a fraud alert (I’d booked travel in a few locations earlier in the day). Lina’s incredible friendliness, professionalism, and discretion hadn’t skipped a beat, protecting me from unnecessary embarrassment and elevating my experience in the most memorable of ways. I HAD to go back later to learn her name, how to ensure she got recognition for a job well done, and received feedback on how an unexpected upgrade, can mean so much more to a random stranger recovering from job lay-off, new home disasters and passing of a parent in the preceding months, while looking forward to a little decompression time before embarking on an exciting new professional role. I am putting Holiday Inn/Staybridge Suites on notice: watch your back. If I EVER get the opportunity to hire this young lady, I’m stealing her!! Kudos to this location, on exemplary customer service all around.
Parking
10.0My family and I went to an event in Rosemont. We parked in a neighboring parking lot. When exiting, we got ourselves into a predicament where we ended up in this hotel’s parking lot and couldn’t exit properly. Anna at the front desk was able to address the situation very professionally.
