The staff was nice but you can clearly see they are overworked. This facility needs help.

I really wanted to enjoy my stay at Krystal Grand, but unfortunately, the only thing I truly liked was the staff. Almost every employee we encountered was kind, friendly, and genuinely tried to help. They remained professional and courteous despite what appeared to be an overwhelming workload. That said, it was obvious the resort is severely understaffed. The employees looked exhausted and overworked—almost like zombies—yet they continued doing their best. Management really needs to invest in more staff and better support for the people who are keeping the resort running. They deserve much better. The staff was the highlight of our stay, but the resort itself did not meet our expectations. I sincerely hope management takes care of its employees because they are the resort’s greatest asset.

− What I didn’t like about this stay is honestly hard to summarize because there were so many issues—I could truly write a book. This was, without a doubt, the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. The facilities are outdated, and the overall condition of the property is disappointing. Our room didn’t have working air conditioning, and we were given the runaround and moved three separate times without any real apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The food was inedible, and the drinks were watered down and poorly made. Basic amenities didn’t function properly—the phones didn’t work, the ice machines were broken, and many of the restaurants were closed or not open consistently. Even when they were open, the food quality made it not worth it. The beach itself is beautiful, but the water is too rough to safely swim in. You will need to ask for towels and wash cloths. They are almost like a commodity. This was the first vacation where my kids repeatedly asked if we could just go home. Cabo itself is stunning, but I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else and venturing out for good food. Also you will need to reach out to the concierge for everything but have no doubt. They are NEVER around. However again the workers are short staffed.

Great position, beautiful view from Altitude Tower. Staff was lovely and the room was clean.

− Food was terrible, buffet room was in disrepair, pools were cloudy, and rooms were half decorated and smelled of humidity and must/mold. One of our rooms was so bad that multiple members of our party got a headache within minutes. Ultimately we had to change rooms to get through the night and we left first thing the next day.

Location was great. Facilities was maintained well.

− Adult pool needed to be cleaned.

To reiterate, this is our forth or fifth time staying at the resort.

Breakfast was great. Lots to pick from and seemed fresh. The omelet cook is great.

− Nothing needs to change. We stay here every year. We race the norra and finish in San Jose so it's very convenient. The parking is important for us. We had three race teams staying there and we all fit.
