Overall, my stay was disappointing due to poor service.
1.0From the entrance, the property looked more like a construction site than a guest facility, with building materials scattered throughout the area. In addition, several trucks were parked outside, further contributing to the untidy and unwelcoming appearance. The gate was open, but there was no receptionist available to assist me, leaving me waiting outside for some time. As I was unsure what was happening, I noticed the Uhuru restaurant on the corner of the street and took a chance by calling them to find out whether they were associated with the same facility. A staff member from the restaurant came to assist me and was able to locate the receptionist. She explained that it was too cold for her to remain at the reception area, which was why she was unavailable when I arrived. Overall, this created a poor first impression and made the check-in process unnecessarily inconvenient and frustrating.
− I was given the keys and informed that, due to ongoing renovations, I would need to drive to a different location where my accommodation was situated. Upon arriving at the second property, I parked my vehicle and spent quite some time walking around trying to locate my room. I had expected that a staff member would be available to guide me or show me to the accommodation, but no assistance was provided. This made the arrival process confusing and unnecessarily inconvenient.
