Amazing Hotel, Amazing Staff - True Hospitality
10.0We recently hiked the Romantic Castles of the Rhine along the Rheinsteig, a very challenging path. We arrived in Lorch on an extremely hot day, 38c, so we were overwhelmed when the Receptionist presented us with cold water and face towels that must have been straight out of the freezer, to refresh ourselves. Even better, the room was large, clean, comfortable and AIR-CONDITIONED. Our luggage was being transferred from our previous night's hotel and had not arrived. No problems, reception told us to relax and enjoy a cold drink in their beer garden, they would let us know when the luggage arrived. We were super-impressed to go back to our room later only to find reception had delivered our bags to the room. Our first impression was definitely the best impression. The hotel is ultra-modern, very spacious with great facilities and in a superior location in Lorch. This hotel is definitely the best we had along the Rhine.
