Absolutely fabulous setting, beautiful view from our balcony. Wonderful room, love the idea behind the naming of them and it was spacious, a comfy bed, big towels for showering, toiletries provided ( other than shampoo but I had brought some so not a problem for us). The breakfast hamper, tea and coffee and little fridge was just what we needed in the morning and to sit outside in such beautiful setting in beautiful weather after a day on the beach was perfect! The piano room was beautiful although we ate breakfast on our balcony due to the lovely weather. We will definitely use this fabulous place again!

Did not love up to my expectations.

Balcony looked at the roof of the conservatory which obscured the view. Balconies of adjoining rooms separated only by ironwork which resembled animal pens apart from the dragons which were a lovely touch. Breakfast very nice although 'in room' was unexpected when booking. Access to music room, yes, however room full of tables and only one place to sit to relax so if someone else was there, nowhere else to go. Nowhere to really walk on the grounds - lots of 'private'.

Novel method of providing continental breakfast.

− Provide breakfast basket in orning not previous evening so bread is fresher.

This would be amazing if there had been a proper hotel breakfast. But it was still really really good.

The hotel, grounds and room were beautiful. We were met by a member of staff who was lovely, but as it was a self check in, we only met her by chance.

− It was self check in, and breakfast was a hamper, which we didn’t realise until after booking.

Beautiful location, in need of some new furniture.

The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The hamper had a good selection, the fresh bread was really good. It was hot but the fan just about kept the room bearable when we positioned it in front of the window.

− We appreciate it's an old building and the floorboards creak but the bed frame was really loud with any movement and the mattress was so uncomfortable we slept on top of the duvet.

Ein schönes Haus mit besonderem Flair. Leider absolut anonym gemacht, total ohne Personal.

− Kein Personal. Das Frühstück wird am Vortag vor die Tür gestellt. Das enthaltene Baguette ist dann am nächsten Morgen hart. Es gibt keinen frischen Kaffee, sondern nur Instant-Kaffee.
