Relaxing unique retreat
7.0It's a very thoughtful place to stay and very unique. It was very relaxing to be surrounded by a forested garden with the tranquil sounds of the animals. It's definitely a positive place to stay.
− The policy that forbids guests from bringing food back to their rooms makes sense for the wild animal issue but is very restrictive to guests. I'm not sure that I would have booked to stay there if I knew this beforehand. The breakfast options were very limited. Nothing healthy on offer. It's all snack food or desserts. I was very surprised that they didn't offer congee/rice soup which is a staple breakfast item in China and they seem to get mostly Chinese guests. Congee is also a good substitute for oats/porridge for westerners breakfast. It's no fault of Cochet but I wasn't a fan of Nimman. Too gentrified for my liking, but that is out of their control so I cannot blame them but it is unfortunate.
