8.0I chose this hotel as it was the only hotel in Buxton with electric car chargers which is another story. The charging was not without incident but the hotel manager was very helpful sorting out our problem. We were in the annex but it was close enough not to be a problem and a nice room. The TV required screen sharing which did not work with my iPhone 17 but not bothered about that.

8.0Lovely staff & building, nice & clean. Furniture in room had lots of handles missing & loose. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy & stayed on long after the light was switched off. Very nice breakfast. Originally had to park on the road before spotting a parking space in grounds. Very handy for the town as long as you don’t mind the hill!
