6.0Room clean and comfortable, but difficult to access - buildings are old and tired.

8.0We have stayed at the Lansdowne Strand before, and like the hotel and its location. The Arkell's beer (a favourite) is well kept. The only disappointment this time was that we arrived back at 10 past 10 in the evening to find the bar closed, even to residents. A shame, as one of the reasons for choosing the hotel was the splendid pint of Arkell's (see above).
