− The room we were given had dead mouse stacked in the window frame. Receptionist came to inspect after we requested it be removed. In front of us, and without the gloves she slowly peeled the dead mouse off the frame in pieces, it was very distgusting to witness. We eventually left the room and waited outside to let her continue, she then used the same bare hands to let herself out of the room - touching the door handle with the same hands. She then disposed of the mouse in a bin located right out of our window. She was very appathetic, no apology or communication, it felt like it was a completely ordinary experience. There was no offer to change rooms or check in with us. Very bad customer service. Our expectation would be some gloves, giving the area a wipe down after its removed and removing the carcas from victinity of room. None of these things happened. It makes you concerened for the overall cleanliness of rooms, which at cheapest are a couple hundred dollars a night. We requested another room, as it was not offered to us, and had to pay for this change. There was no discounted change fee due to dead mouse in our room. Ultimately, we didnt have high expectations, we only wanted a clean and easy stay while passing through. While finding the dead mouse was a surprise, the customer service and disposal of mouse was a great shock and overall ruined the experience.

Modern hotel/ motel in the centre of town with great views and restaurant.
9.0Very convenient to the start across the Nullarbor. Beautiful views over the bay. Very pleasant. Clean and tidy with good meals in the restaurant.
− Nothing. Everything was OK
Although the room is rather dated and could do with some TLC, the bed was decent.
4.0The convenience of the location.
− The place was evidently run down. It could do with some work to tidy it all up.
