6.0Staff should give you a tour of the facility when you arrive. Show you where the other pool is, explain times for bars and food. Tell the guest about the transportation to and from their room. They just checked us in and cut us loose. We knew nothing. I had to ask “how do I get myself and my luggage to our room”.

8.0This was the resort equivalent of a cruise ship; that is, you have ala cart restaurants, as well as a buffet, you have swimming pools, and lounge chairs, and of course, you have the option for excursions! Do as little, or as much as your calendar and pocketbook allows! A great experience overall!

10.0Had an amazing week at this resort. The property is absolutely beautiful the staff was friendly and always helpful. The food was great. If you are looking for a quiet spot with beautiful views this is the place for you! Highly recommend Occidental Papagayo:)
