I had a wonderful stay at Ameniti Bay Hotel (now Coral Pointe Hotel) in Sarasota. From the moment I arrived, the property felt clean, quiet, and well cared for. The room was fresh and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a busy day. One of my favorite features was the peaceful atmosphere. It never felt crowded or noisy, which made it the perfect place to recharge. I also appreciated that it’s pet-friendly, so guests can travel with their furry companions. The staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, and the overall experience offered great value for the price. If you’re looking for a clean, affordable, and peaceful hotel in Sarasota, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.

I picked this hotel because it had the highest ratings in the area, but it really doesn't live up to them. First we were not greeted upon the check in. Then the room key blinked green but never opened, we had to get down and been told - its a known problem and he needs to use the master key. Upon entering i noticed the toilet seat is covered in urine stains, so we had to come back downstairs and been informed they are completly sold out. No apologies. Then he looked again in the computer and said "I have one more room but if its not to your liking, nothing else can be done". My liking is a clean room. The phrase should be "If the 2nd room is also dirty then unfortunately nothing else can be done". The 2nd room was better but still many things overlooked by the housekeeping. The toilet pump gets stuck and dont refill water in the tank. The worst shower glass wall design, there is no door so all the water gets on the floor. That constant water rusted all hinges and ruined the door. The water pressure is too strong and can not be adjusted. There are rolling window curtains so the sides do not hide the light. The mattress a tad hard. The pillows are perfect. There are fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The breakfast: bread, hot eggs, potatoes, sausages and french toast. And yogurt machine. There are no pastries or waffle/pancake maker. Overall, really poor experience.

De kamer is erg ruim en schoon. Er was een heel fijn en ruim zwembad. Ook het ontbijt was goed en gevarieerd.

− We misten haken of andere ophangmogelijkheden voor de handdoeken of zwemkleding te laten drogen. Ook misten we een kluisje op de kamer. Het tapijt was vochtig maar wel schoon. Het voelde daardoor niet prettig aan. De volgende dag zagen we een persoon met een tapijtreiniging rondlopen. Dat verklaarde het vochtige tapijt.
