A lovely hotel with friendly staff- comfortable rooms and bar area and a reasonable restaurant menu.
7.0Room was comfortable as expected _ rated alongside the level of comfort in a Premier Inn room. Location to a number of National Trust sites and properties.
− Room cleaning options - we understand rising costs is an issue and hotels don't like to change beds and towels daily, and we didn't expect that - However, the only options available were full clean with linen and towel change or a refresh which was basically a change of daily useables i.e. coffee/tea etc. We would have liked to have had a bathroom clean and room vacuum each day.

− It was quite hot in the room. Difficult for the hotel to manage the temperature when it’s so hot outside but world have appreciated the offer of a thinner quilt or just a sheet when we checked in.
