Don’t trust these scam artists!!!!

As far as this place is concerned, it is okay, despite their outdated amenities. But what really hacks me off with this place is when they charged me a penalty fee and didn’t bother to tell me when I stayed. I had to make some modifications to my trip. And I was able to reschedule my other hotel stays just fine without any penalties. But this one not only charged me for a night that I already modified, it charged me an extra $20 penalty fee. And it was just this specific place. And I checked all my stays, and it said modifications, all set. Then I noticed this additional charge on my credit card, it said I made modifications after this specific date which was not true. And they won’t look into it for me. They deceived me. They betrayed me. Don’t waste your money on this place!!!!! Hotels.com let you cancel and make modifications. And if it doesn’t, it will let you know. When I found Commodores Inn, it said 100% fully refundable, reserve now, pay later. And I thought “great” a week before my schedule stays, I had to make changes j all the places, and I was able to do that successfully on all of them except this one. And they never bothered to tell me they just put that charge on there without me thinking I would notice. So I’m here to say do not trust these guys they’re con artist!!!! they may be getting an additional $174 from me which is not warranted, but I hope anybody reads this will prevent them from staying at this place!

Location

− Bed Bugs in rooms and staff gave no explanation or refunds on accommodation to another room next to the rooms with bed bugs. We were up all night not wanting to lay down or sit and ended leaving earlier than the booking with no refunds.

Comfortable but needs updating desperately

Affordable and good location…great hot tub!

− Needed to be updated. It felt like several old men lived there all of the time???

No frills but adequate

It was the cheapest hotel in the area. Spacious rooms. Personable/ small town feel.

− There was a clump of hair on the edge of the bathroom sink upon arrival. Very dated infrastructure, with cracks in the sink.

Not as relaxing as expected. Too much time wasted, switching rooms twice because of TV and A/C issue

− Had to switch rooms TWICE !!! first room, TV did not work. Second room, air conditioner did not work. !!! No morning breakfast or self serve snacks.
