Worst vacation ever
6.0Weather caused a 2 day delay for us. Reserved deluxe ocean front room. On arrival, after our TA had already informed NINE PEOPLE at the resort about our delay, we were listed as No Shows. We were put in standard rooms after about a 5 hour wait. Our room had a great view of the restaurant roof and no air conditioning. Our friends had a beautiful view of the trees. After 4-5 days of our complaints we were finally moved to the room class we reserved. Food was mediocre at best. A couple of meals at the buffet had nothing worth eating. Most of the time food was barely warm. Other restaurants took way too long to get served and to get your food. Only really nice meal we had was the private beach dinner. The shining stars of the entire fiasco were Amanda, Novelette (Oceana) and Kenneth (pool bar). Amanda did everything she could to remedy the bad situation. Novelette was just a delight at the meals at Oceana. Kenneth took such wonderful care of us at the pool bar. We were told by our original TA that there was an Adults Only area. Boy was she wrong. One day at the Sun Club pool there were about a dozen of the most unruly kids that took over the entire pool. They were so obnoxious that someone actually complained to security!
I wouldn't waste your time if you're expecting great facilities & service!!
6.0I'm not sure who gave this resort a 4 *, maybe they cant count!!! It could be fantastic but it's badly run, constantly short staffed & most of the ones that do work there are so slow!!! It needs a full refurbishment and new management to make anywhere close to a 4*

10.0Would like to leave a review for Kenneth at the bldg 8 Sun Club Bar. He was super friendly and remembered our drink orders. We looked for to seeing him every day!! And wish him a Happy Birthday!!
