Minimum expectations not met.
2.0Location was 3 mins from where I was working. Daz who let me in and showed me to my room was a really nice bloke.
− Upon arrival I was met with a door with a keycode entry lock. I had not been sent any instructions on how to gain entry. I rang the camera doorbell with no response. I tried phoning the numbers on a notice in the window - one was not recognised, the other went to straight to answerphone. I tried the bell again, and this time somebody spoke through it. I was told by the guy that he'd be over in two minutes to let me in - and to his credit he was true to his word. Once inside, the room stank of stale smoke (or something) to the point I could feel it on the back of my throat. There were two shared bathrooms each with its own toilet: one had no seat, the other one was so dirty (seat included) that I wouldn't risk sitting on it. I didn't use the kitchen. I've stayed in some budget accommodation in the past - I know the score and am certainly not fussy. However this place didn't meet the minimum standards of cleanliness even for budget accommodation.
