Dreamcliff Mountain Resort is simply stunning. From the moment we arrived, the views over the Sri Lankan hill country and tea estates stopped us in our tracks — genuinely one of the most spectacular locations I’ve ever experienced in any hotel, anywhere in the world. The huts are beautiful — spacious, characterful and incredibly well appointed, but the real showstopper is the balcony. Sitting out there with nothing but mountains, mist and tea estates stretching out as far as the eye can see is something we’ll never forget. It’s the kind of view that makes you stop mid-conversation and just stare. The staff were wonderfully warm and friendly throughout our stay — nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent, making the most of fresh local ingredients with real care and attention. I proposed to my partner here during our stay, and the hotel team kindly offered to help set things up. In the end, the balcony itself proved to be the most perfect and intimate setting I could have asked for — even better than I’d imagined. It was a moment we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives, and Dreamcliff provided the most magical backdrop for it.

Amazing location and views from the rooms and pool. Recommend booking a king room as I believe the view is stunning. Restaurant is good enough, service excellent.

− Some small things were a bit strange, for instance the breakfast that is included was served to the table, yet when I asked for a napkin or small bag to take the rest of the pastries this was “not allowed”. Which is a pity because this food must for sure be wasted then. If it was a buffet, I would understand but in this way it was a bit disappointing. Overall the food at the restaurant was only ok.

The resort is beautiful. And the view awe inspiring The food was really average, very disappointing. Staff not trained well. Said food was gluten free. It had soy sauce in it. Brought gf bread to table in a basket filled with other normal breads so clearly had no idea about cross contamination . Wait staff were either overbearing or underwhelming: our worst stay in Sri Lanka, which is a pity because the location and natural beauty of the area is breathtaking.

Absolutely stunning grounds and views. The pool was a delight and the food was fantastic. Very attentive and welcoming staff. This place felt like a dream indeed!

La vue est juste á couper le souffle, avec un 180 sur les montagnes. La piscine á débordement est juste sublime et bonne surprise très belle vue également des petits bungalows. Le personnel est aux petits soins et très accueillant. Je recommande si vous voulez une vue imprenable sur les montagnes.

− Cependant la nourriture n'est pas la meilleure que nous avons mangé et le prix un peu cher pour la qualité. Le petit dej était bien et copieux par contre.
