Parfait pour un sejour, mais personnel à remplacer
9.0L’ambiance, l’emplacement, l’historique, le lac
− Le personnel n’était pas très accueillant, ni serviable
Beautiful Location, But Otherwise Eminently Missable
4.0Our Main Lodge Lake View Room had spectacular view of the lake and mountains. The room was adequate with basic toiletries with wash-hand basin in the bedroom rather than in the ensuite. We had a coffee machine but we could not use it as the only available socket was behind the bed. Roosevelt Restaurant offered a varied menu and generous portions. Throughout the lodge, service was unacceptably poor and slow, staff seemed untrained and clueless . Hugely overpriced and underwhelming.
Check in staff lied about charging for my room.
4.0Very unimpressed with check in and reception staff. After presenting proof of my stay being pre-paid through a 3rd party company, they assured me that there would be no payment charged to my card other than any incidentals. So then to be charged in full for an already pre-paid room in full AND $300 for unused incidentals is shocking. The rroma are fully like their 100 yr anniversary might have been like on opening day The only saving grave was the quality of the food and the fabulous service of the restaurant staff. I hadn't expected the dining experience to be as good based on the reception team and room quality. The location of the hotel is incredible.
Filthy room
4.0The room was so dusty and dirty that I was very displeased. There were dead bugs on the carpet and baseboard. The carpet was full of dust under the radiator heater. I traveled over 2000 miles to spend time here with my family who lives in Washington. I spoke with the manager and sent her an email as requested with a video and a few photos after I had shown them and more to her. This was over a week ago and still haven't heard back. The room was unacceptable as has been the lack of response from management. I do not recommend this lodge.
Pleasant lakeside historic lodge
7.0Lovely lakeside location. Historic place with lots of things to look at
− It’s old and a bit worn. But government run places are like this. You pay a lot but it’s unique
